Guiding You Toward Brighter Days
Hello, I'm Jasmine.
I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and finding the right counsellor is an important part of that journey. My aim is to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel safe to talk openly about whatever is happening in your life.
As a qualified counsellor with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counselling, I work with people experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and feelings of being overwhelmed or stuck. I am a registered member of NZAC and am also ACC and EAP registered.
I believe that every person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. My practice is grounded in person-centred, pluralistic, and trauma-informed principles, which means I tailor our work together to suit your individual needs, goals, and experiences. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult time, looking to better understand yourself, or hoping to make meaningful changes in your life, we will work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Alongside my counselling work, I have experience in leadership and team management, which has given me a strong understanding of the pressures people face both personally and professionally. I am particularly passionate about supporting women through the many challenges and transitions life can bring, including motherhood, identity changes, and emotional wellbeing.
Above all, I believe that counselling is about connection, feeling heard, and having a space where you can explore your thoughts and experiences without fear of judgement. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and better equipped to navigate whatever life is bringing your way.
